The Course

Lake Bruin.

Lake Bruin Golf & Country Club is one of Louisiana’s most scenic nine-hole layouts. The course plays along the elevated bluffs above Lake Bruin — an oxbow lake formed when the Mississippi changed course centuries ago — offering water views that few delta courses can match.

Fairways are generous but the approach shots require precision. Three holes skirt the lake, and the prevailing delta breeze keeps the course comfortable even in summer. A true hidden gem in Tensas Parish.
